Dear Baby Friends,
Remember those times moomy and daddy thought I was getting a tooth?
Well, it's finally here.
I was being a good baby, so daddy didn't know that things were changing. Two days ago I gave him a kiss on the finger and he felt it. It is on the bottom and makes lots of drool on my mouth. Daddy said it felt a little bit hard and sharp.
It was really hurting til today, so I had a hard time falling asleep for my morning nap.
I cried and needed extra cuddle-hugs. Daddy said, "I know, I know". But then he said, "You know, Arik, I actually don't really know how it feels. Moomies and daddies sometimes say that they know. Here's what they really mean: it must really hurt and be confusing for you. But it will be OK soon and it just means that you're becoming a bigger boy."
I fell asleep a little bit later and am going to dream about using my new tooth to eat not-mushy food.
I think that this must be the reason that the tooth fairy comes in a few years. It's like a little reward for going through baby pains.
So, hang in there, baby buddies...it'll be OK soon and you'll love eating not-mushy foods.
Love,
Arik
